Diamond Developments

Here’s a quick update on the latest news regarding your Diamond Ambassador membership…

We have exciting plans for the future and, as the Chamber restructures the team to develop membership growth, I just wanted to keep you all in the picture.

As you may be aware, over previous years it has been quite a stretch looking after all things membership and events. However, we now have two new Membership Team members to help with the continuing developments here at the Chamber.

Debbi Dawson will organise and look after all our future events and Neal Barfoot will recruit and manage new and existing members. There are also potential plans for one more additional member to join the team.

Best regards,

Darren Grantham

Our next Diamond Ambassadors Business Lunch takes place on July 3 from 12.00-2.00pm,
at The Landmark, 1 School Lane, Burnley, BB11 1UF.

Once again, this is our free quarterly business leaders lunch for Diamond Ambassador members only. Guest speakers to be announced soon.

Many of you have already booked but if you haven’t yet registered please drop me a line

It is important that the Diamond Ambassadors events are attended by senior decision makers within your organisation as the topics are of strategic importance to the region and can provide real insights and opportunities that will enhance your business.

The President's Summer Ball this year will be held at the Dunkenhalgh Hotel on Friday, June 7.

Diamond Ambassadors qualify for two free places but, as always, we would love you to reserve a table.

We’ll start the evening with canapes and prosecco, followed by a very British 3-course gourmet meal. We are delighted to confirm that the very talented international tenor Sean Ruane will be singing once again and, in-keeping with the theme we will hear from Made in Britain CEO John Pearce, who will be joined by Chamber members and Made in Britain supporters Mark Woodward from the Printed Cup Company and Aaron Chadfield from ESSE Engineering.

Dress code is black tie but dare to be brave and weave-in a Great British twist!

Treat yourself to an overnight stay!

Once again, we will be holding the ball at the Mercure Dunkenhalgh Hotel & Spa. Ample free parking is available within the hotel grounds, but if you’d rather make a night of it why not treat yourself to an overnight stay?
